They are releasing both the web tool and the script extender to create the server module - cool thing is you can actually just launch the web tool and select, save, and manage servers right there in real time --- and also Join! In terms of server construction it is confirmed you can change the map size and player size or even set it to dynamic so it will scale maps based on population. You will be able to mix and match different generations globally or on a per-map basis. This can really capture certain nostalgia when playing on remastered maps. I am most interested in the confirmation that you can use the new modern movement, updated weapon balance for all prior games, and still use the original Battlefield ruleset. Look forward to hearing from Diesel regarding us launching our very own XE Tactical server so for the all the members out there, it's time to come home, we got a war to fight. In part of launching our own server, we really will need to the input from as many folks as we can prior to launching. Let us know thoughts on rules and mechanics please.
