Nice setup YummyBullet! Fancy-Fancy stuff! Thanks for sharing. What kind of snacks was in this bowl? LOL
At that moment there were Wheat Thins in the bowl. My whole desk is a mess so I didn't show it...bottles of snapple, mountain dew, canada dry, starbucks...I should clean up.
Got a new monitor to replace the Acer: BenQ ZOWIE XL2411 (1080p 144Hz) It's my first 144Hz monitor - the color quality is awful, but the 144Hz makes a significant difference.
Perhaps like more higher-end equipment, they often tend to be less forgiving. Maybe you will need to tune the settings more and save them for different mode applications... Maybe? I am not "Techy".
That's pretty accurate. This BenQ monitor has old technology actually; it is a re-branded (with the ZOWIE name) version of a monitor that came out about 5 years ago. Newer 144Hz monitors have better image quality, but I went with probably the cheapest one I could find (it is actually refurbished). I might play around with the settings a bit, as right now I'm using a review site recommended preset. It inherently has worse colors as a result of 144Hz effects. I also have it juxtaposed with my other monitor which has fantastic (professional) color quality, which accentuates the difference.
